A gala gourmet lunch was held at Mezzo restaurant in Shenzhen. At the launch event, VIP guests, media and influencers were served a four-course European cuisine lunch featuring high-quality products from EU countries including Spain, Italy, France, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Austria, The Netherlands, and Poland.
Each restaurant featured a completely different menu created especially for the promotion by the restaurant’s head chef. The EU Food and Beverage Menus included a starter, main course, dessert, as well as beverages (wines, beers and cocktails). Menus also included EU Geographical Indication products.

Description
Some of the EU products that consumers discovered at the participating promotion restaurants included red prawns and Serrano ham from Spain, olive oil and Prosciutto di San Daniele PDO from Italy, oysters and codfish from France, Danablu PGI blue cheese from Denmark, lumpfish caviar from Sweden, pork belly from Ireland and Portugal, Feta PDO cheese and Elia Kalamatas PDO olives from Greece, yoghurt and cream from Germany, and chocolate from Belgium.
In addition, consumers found a wide variety of EU wine, beer and spirits to enjoy with their food, including Port PDO wine from Portugal, Conegliano- Valdobbiadene- Prosecco PDO sparkling wine from Italy, red wine from Italy, Spain and France, beer from Denmark and Belgium, Genever GI from the Netherlands, as well as Swedish Vodka GI, Vodka of Finland GI and Polish Vodka GI.
